Optimate 2 12V 0.8A Motorcycle Smart Battery Charger TM422 OPT2

I recently purchased a 2nd motorcycle so required a 2nd Optimate trickle charger. My other bike is permanently connected to an older Optimate 4 when garaged and it enabled to battery to last 8 years from new before a replacement was required. Prices had risen a lot since I first bought my Optimate 4 so I decided to save money and go for an Optimate 2 this time as it seemed sufficient for my needs. It is too early to really comment on how good it will perform but I have good exoectations based on the performance of my old Optimate 4. One small problem was that my new bike came equipped with battery leads with a connection to the older type of Optimate charger, like my old Optimate 4. The new Optimate 2 has a different connector. I therefore had to remove the existing wiring to the battery and fit the new connector supplied. This should have been an easy task but the bike's older connector had been well fitted with some well hidden and hard to access cable ties. The newer connector is a very tight fit but will hopefully loosen off in time.

Already had this charger so knew what to expect. That being said the price was good and the delivery even better. I ordered it on Sunday and it was delivered on the Monday.
