My wife's car battery went flat - mainly because of short journeys caused by current lockdown conditions. Because of vital family support it was imperative to get a new battery. My old S4 005 was 4rs 1 month old. One morning the car did not start. So I thought the battery must have gone. Order the new one from Tayna and fitted but still car did not start. The old battery was fine which I fitted in another car and it is working fine. There was a gear sifter problem. The automatic gear was stuck in Drive position which was not allowing the car to start. Anyway after 4 yrs the battery was due in any case. Whatever time the old battery works in another car, it would be a bonus. The price was very competitive compared to Eurocarparts. Only problem was delivery. Next day does not mean next day at 8.00pm in the night. But that was a courier problem. Battery arrived at courier local depot in the morning at 6.00am which is less than 2 miles from my address but still it was delivered at 8.00pm!!!!

I chose standard delivery and the battery arrived in about 3 days I think which was fine. It was well packaged and this model has a convenient fold up handle on the top which made it a lot easier to lower it into the battery housing on my car. It was a replacement for an old battery that had gone flat through lack of use and the car is now starting well. The only downside was the delivery, in that the delivery driver left the box on one end, despite the arrows on the outside showing which way was up. Thankfully it was only like that for a few minutes before I got to it and turned it onto the base.
