It is too early to tell about longevity but since I changed out the old battery the stop/start on the Mondeo MkV is working perfectly again.

My car would not start so I needed to replace my car battery on my 7 year old ford focus. I noticed the start stop function hadn't worked for a short while too but thought nothing of it. I did my research and chose a Bosch battery, Bosch are an excellent brand and I wanted reliability and quality but each to their own. I chose Tayna online after reading good reviews and I wanted a recognised named battery rather than a cheap battery from a company I never heard of but I do not want to go into politics each make their own judgements. The battery was fitted at a nearby garage, for a few pounds now my car starts reliably and so does the start stop function saving me fuel!

The battery on my 2012 Ford Focus Estate 1.6TDCi (with start-stop) failed fairly suddenly. I hadn't heard of Tayna but saw the name mentioned on a Forum when searching for potential battery suppliers. The price was substantially cheaper than local suppliers were charging but the feedback seemed good so I placed an order on a Sunday evening. Very pleased when the battery arrived on Tuesday afternoon and even more pleased when the car started first time on the new battery. I had a minor technical query answered promptly and helpfully. Great price, good service and good support; what is not to like.

Quality brand battery at a great price. Stop/Start now working properly on my Mondeo 1.6EB SS. Had 'Low Battery Voltage' warning popping up even after a long journey and Stop/Start ceased working, but fine now. Make sure you get the correct type of battery for SS, eg EFB, normal batteries will only last a few months before failing.
