Ordered a £133 Bosch battery on Saturday at 16:00. Arrived on Tuesday at 14:00. Same battery was over £400 at Eurocarparts. If every company was this efficient and this good value, maybe we would have a V-shaped recovery?

Only two brands of battery left on the market worth their salt, Bosch and Varta these days. IF your using an AGM on a infrequently used car top tip is get yourself a CETK charger/maintainer to save the battery dropping below 10.5v rendering it useless.

I bought this battery for my 1987 Mercedes 500 SEC. Its bigger than the standard size recommended for the car, but I measured the battery tray and it fits, with terminals in the correct orientation. I used Tayna's useful "Batteries by Dimension" to get the exact size I wanted. i.e. Standard height and depth, but wider as the battery tray had room width ways. Being AGM and bigger capacity than standard, I am hoping for an extra reserve of power should I need it in the winter. The battery was delivered the next day, and prices are the cheapest around, so well done Tayna.
