I fitted this 6 volt battery around 8 years ago now, I think ?. Anyway, it's still going strong and has never given any problems. It's fitted to a vintage motorcycle and sidecar with a dynamo that takes for ever to charge the battery. I stick it on trickle charge overnight once a month. Great product from a great company . Many thanks.

Excellent battery for my Austin 7. Delivered by local pallet ways courier. Trickle-charged for 4 hours to give 6.5 volts. Packaging a bit over the top, but arrived in good condition. Would recommend to any of my classic car friends. Thanks from a satisfied customer.

This battery was for my Austin 7. It arrived fairly well charged, and does the job of replacing a similar one that died after 5 years. Why only 4 stars ? Well, it arrived on a wooden pallet big enough for a truck engine. Now I happen to like pallets ( useful for the allottment ), but I can imagine it would be a nuisance for most people to dispose of. Secondly, this old fashioned type of battery has open vent holes in each cell plug. It would have really helped if a bit of gaffer tape was popped over each one, to stop the acid from slopping out in transit and coating the battery and the inside of the protective polythene bag - a messy and time consuming job to clean up.

Battery performs exactly as it should do - was delivered in good time - ordering was straightforward. Only criticism.....in my opinion, the packaging was OTT ( and, not cheap!) A pallet, loads of black wrap plastic etc, etc. I ve had several batteries from you in the past - much bigger ones - never had to come on a pallet and consequently, in the back of a 6ton truck with a forklift.
