This is my second Exide 1000 and it's a fab battery, the old one was still working well after six years, I only changed as a winter precaution. I only ever us Tanya, they are amazingly efficient. Cheers.

Really pleased with cost, delivery and quality. Highly recommended, Fitted to discovery 3 2.7td Only was move vent plug to opposite side. As per the old battery removed to allow vent pipe to be re inserted - no issues

Problem is one of the bolts on existing battery hold clamp is not long enough as battery does not have cut out for clamp position despite being listed as a suitable replacement for this particular vehicle. Be helpful if this was highlited in specification.

2nd Exide EA1000 (017TE) for my 2nd Volvo S60 D5. These are 5 cylinder diesels so need a huge battery with big CCA (engine = very high compression ratio) to start them. Try getting a battery with as high Ah/CCA ratings as these Exides for anywhere near the price. They seem to last OK so I don't believe the negatives against Exides on the Web (both cars had a Lion battery in which didn't last long in either car, sooo....). I took a chance due to the rating and the price Tayna sell them for, and they haven't let me down yet. Tayna delivered quickly, and the packaging is excellent. And CHEAP!! VolvoWhat more do you need to know.

My first LR Discovery was fine. The new one has always had battery issues but the battery lasted a long time until we got stuck in the chunnel. So went with recommendations and bought this, it is really great. Always has lots of power, car starts better and without worry of it going flat. We can now leave the car for weeks and off she goes. The price is good, the delivery fast and the product really good. Cannot oraise this purchase enough.
