My previous car battery was also an Exide battery and lasted for over 10 years. This replacement battery was chosen as it was the most compatible available for my car. I selected this particular battery after contacting Tayna who were extremely helpful.

Bought two batteries from Tayna about the same time, about three years ago. One was this Exide (for my Mazda 6) and one was Varta (for my Toyota Yaris). The Yaris gets very little use and hardly ever moves off the driveway. During lockdown the Mazda (our main car) also had very little use, but prior to this had received more use than the Yaris so I would expect any suphation issues to be less with this battery. Basically after several attempts to charge, even with a "rejuvenating" charges, the Exide would not recover. Meanwhile the Yaris carried on regardless, starting every time with no issue and not even needing a charge. Conclusion: Buy a Varta battery! Needless to say I replace this one with a Varta and hope not to see the same issues further down the line.
