New battery got me out of a pickle * Injector 1 failed on my Peugeot 3008 - cooling fans killed the battery dead. The original wouldn't hold charge. * As the title suggests, the engineering marvel that is the Peugeot 3008 has recently lost #1 injector. When started, the fans would run continuously until the battery died - bit odd. Went to test after replacement of the injector - dead as a Dodo! Delivery of battery was quick thanks to next day delivery, the price was competitive in comparison to others. Swapped over, no problems.

Bought this stop/ start battery because my car had been throwing up weird and wonderful engine and gearbox errors but nothing a ODB check could put its finger on. The stop/ start function hadn't been working for 18 months or more but I thought nothing of it. Replaced old battery with this one and hey presto car is like new. No faults stop/ start working. Delivered via Amazon very quickly. Cost £140 which Blew my mind. Last time I bought a battery it was £20...back in the dark ages, but I'm not sure if that is a decent price or not. Anyway much cheaper than going to a garage. Swapping the battery on my car took about half hour with the help of youtube.

Very good cranking power, shame there was a little damage in shipping, one of the corners at the top was broken, but, the battery is sealed so not causing any problems.
