Reduction in telephone support seems to have been responsible for problem that the terminals on this otherwise compatible battery were too narrow for the car's connections. This aspect of battery 'size' was not raised in conversation (I, as a layman, was ignorant of the fact that it was a factor to consider) - was it even something listed on the web page giving battery's details?
