Excellent product, the last Varta e11 lasted 12 years - I'll say no more ! The Service and fast delivery was excellent!

Manufacturer spec battery to replace the original Varta that lasted 10 years and 150,000 miles. Don't think the car will last the new battery out. Well packaged, delivered quickly, shame the couriers don't understand the "this way up" message and pointy arrows on the box.

Although the battery was specified for my car - 2001 VW Polo - in the event it was very slightly too big (by approx.5mm). I think it would have been very difficult if not impossible to accurately measure the battery tray with the existing battery in-situ; having said that they do say to measure it and although I paid for return shipping I got a refund which is fair enough.

Excellent service at a reasonable price. This is the first time I have fitted a new car battery myself and everything went perfectly from the delivery time to the size and layout of the battery. Car started first time. I just had to take the old battery to the local recycling center and job done!

Delivered day after ordering. Straightforward to fit (don't forget the breather tube). A couple of mm shorter than the old original battery (I packed the gap out with a piece of plastic - probably not strictly necessary as the battery is clamped in place), otherwise same size as original. Disconnection of old battery gave no issues with on-board computer systems, radio didn't need a code putting in. Just re-set the clock. Everything fine. Very pleased.

Product was ideal. Staff really excellent although now retired I would not hesitate to employ them. Unfortunately the battery was misplaced by the first delivery group. Your follow up was however extremely good.
