Delivery was super-prompt. At one stage I thought delivery would happen after the NY holidays because the courier does not update the progress page often enough. This Lucas battery is a little taller than others. I'm a member of the MG and Rover Club and the members had different opinions. Some said that because it is just over half an inch taller, I would not be able to close the battery compartment lid. A few said their lids closed okay. And your site says this battery is compatible with Rover 75 Tourer. In fact, the battery is indeed slightly too tall, but I have managed to click into place one side of the lid, which is retained well.

The Lucas battery is second to none if u require a battery that u need to power a diesel vehicle or a vehicle that uses a high electrical charge. In the winter especially when you have your heating on your windscreen wipers on etc etc.

The battery seems to function ok at the moment - engine rpm is stable at idle. I can't give any more information because I don't know how well the battery will last or how it will perform during -20 Celsius winter weather. It would be good if Tayna could include specific charging instructions for this battery from the manufacturer Lucas. Tayna's warranty process doesn't follow Yuasa's instructions for testing a battery. It would be a good idea for Tayna to follow a battery manufacturer's own testing procedure for a battery that might be faulty.
