Unfortunately, this battery failed after 39 months fitted to my 04 TD4 Freelander. Having 'borrowed' a similar alternative (Exide) from our 2nd car, I realied that the 'borrowed' battery appeared to crank the cold engine over a little faster than the original Lucas. Perhaps a failed cell or a 'Friday afternoon' battery ? I can't fault Tayna's response - Instant refund. I've since ordered a Bosch item from Tayna. Excellent customer service.

Delivery was super-prompt. At one stage I thought delivery would happen after the NY holidays because the courier does not update the progress page often enough. This Lucas battery is a little taller than others. I'm a member of the MG and Rover Club and the members had different opinions. Some said that because it is just over half an inch taller, I would not be able to close the battery compartment lid. A few said their lids closed okay. And your site says this battery is compatible with Rover 75 Tourer. In fact, the battery is indeed slightly too tall, but I have managed to click into place one side of the lid, which is retained well.
