My car is American and has a 6volt system. It needs a high current to start the engine and two of these do the job. I had identical batteries previously and they lasted 8 years, not bad considering the hard life they had. Bob Stimpson

I was having problems with my vintage car and I bought this battery to help get it started. I think now that problem may be somewhere else.
