Expensive but worth the money - yacht engine starter battery

I bought this battery from Tayna several years ago as an engine starting battery on a small yacht with a twin cylinder 14hp diesel. I selected this battery to replace a Red Start battery (that came with the boat when I bought it second hand) which eventually had a failed cell. The original space available for the battery was tiny (because an oversized domestic battery had been fitted), so it was worth paying the premium for this small but high CCA (cold cranking amps) battery to avoid the need for either a smaller domestic battery or major surgery to the boat. The battery has performed very satisfactorily for a number of years.

A replacement for one past its sell-by date - powerful and effective. Used as a yacht starter battery.
