Received my battery two days after placing order. Fit it on my car, new battery was flat, charged it up, car started, but a couple of hour’s later battery went flat. I knew then the battery was faulty. (If you buy a new battery you expect it to be fully charged). Contacted customer service who weren’t very helpful, I was disappointed in the way they dealt with my problem , I explained what I had done, they said it was very unusual for their battery’s to be faulty. I went to the local garage & had the battery checked it was faulty the new battery was unable to except & hold a charge it had sulphated. This problem occurred when the weather was extremely cold & I needed a good battery to start my car in a morning. I was having to put my old battery on charge every night. A week later after all the messing around I had done trying to sort this problem out. I contacted customer service again, told them I want a new battery. I found the customer service advisor very ignorant & did not receive an apology. Day after I complained I received a phone call telling me if the battery that is being sent back to them shows up as not faulty, I would be charged £21.00 for carriage. Beware if you buy. Day after that received replacement battery fit to car & it started straight away. Next time I need a battery I’ll go to the local auto spares shop.

Excellent service from Tayna Batteries. Battery ordered late Tuesday evening & arrived Thursday lunchtime...and this was during the bad snow conditions. Battery itself is also top quality, and a lot cheaper than high street prices. Recommend to everyone.

The Varta battery was received here in Edinburgh in less than 24 hours after ordering it. It was extremely well packed. It was cheaper than I could have bought it in Edinburgh and also relieved me of the problem of driving into the city and having to find a place to park!. The Tayna team are to be congratulated and I will tell my motoring friends where to order their replacement batteries.

Early days as regards how battery will perform (hopefully 5 stars), but the product certainly seems very good quality and turns the engine with ease. I chose this more powerful battery because we use the car infrequently and I want to be sure it starts easily in cold weather. I have used Tanya before (leisure battery) and again found a good range to choose from and very competitive pricing with excellent next day delivery.
