In order for it to fit in the R/H battery box I had to cut off the side lugs of the battery and re-route the wireing slightly. Apart from that a far cheaper and more economical option than the standard 2 x 6V batteries.

Battery working fine. After checking that it would not fit into MGB battery compartment, advised that I could trim the base 'lips' to take the extra width away. After removing, battery fitted perfect. Thanks

Battery arrived quickly from Tayna. Have fitted it to a Citroen C3 petrol as a budget replacement for the original FIAMM battery. It fits just fine (same size in plan, not quite as tall) but has a slightly lower spec - 440 cranking amps v 480 for the Fiamm. I guess the original was perhaps a UK type 012 but there's much more bang for the buck with a popular size like 063. Only time will tell if this was a wise or foolish economy!
