Does the job and was good value from a well known manufacturer. As the battery is of the sealed type, expected it to have a built in hydrometer, as the previous battery, where the coloured spot indicates the condition, of the battery, as it ages. Not sure how you access the condition of this one?

I bought one of these originally as a battery for a Ford Focus diesel which had gone through two batteries in a year. Both had failed to provide the grunt needed to start it in cold weather. This Varta battery never failed on the coldest days of a cold winter. I traded in the car but substituted the most recent of the old batteries (it was in August.) I now needed a pair of new batteries for my boat engine starter system. (it uses 24 volts for starting) and as I had one of these already, I bought one more rather than 2 new smaller batteries. The starting performance has improved dramatically.

Better than OE. I've owned this excellent car from new. The original battery lasted 4 years. Replaced it with Varta Blue 054,That lasted 6 years.Then another 054 which was still working well when I decided to change it before it let me down It is on trickle charge now as a spare. I own 4 cars and they are all fitted with Varta batteries. Non better. Excellent service from Tayna and best price anywhere. Thank you.

Very good battery at a good price (comparable at Halfords costs 60% more). Efficient customer service. By this I mean just the right amount of communications (invoice, dispatch notice, etc.) I have not had a chance to stress-test it as there was no problem with my order. Highly recommend and I would buy from this company again.

Bought this to replace a Mini Convertible battery. The Battery is more powerful and a lot cheaper than the original BMW battery it replaced. Delivery was next day. Can not find fault in the service I received from Tanya, hence the 5 stars
