Big fan of Varta batteries - have purchased many for different cars I have owned over the years. This G8 is replacing an existing one purchased 12 years ago for my 1960 Ford Consul, still working and turning the engine over and starting, albeit a little sluggish so thought time to replace. This battery is a perfect fit for my Consul (with correct terminal placing for positive earth). Would be happy to purchase again, hopefully not for another 12+years, Alan H ???

Great service from Tayna. I managed to order the wrong battery and they very quickly sorted it out and dispatched the correct one and arranged for the other to be collected at the same time. The new battery is now in our old Toyota Rav4 and is excellent.

I hope the last star will be awarded in time: Alas, 4 Stars due to the simple fact , I have not had this battery long enough to judge its longevity; Packaging, delivery time, & simple, secure transaction all 5 Star; Battery arrived undamaged & nearly 94% of a full charge (tested using multimeter & Ring Smart Charger), a little tickle to raise it to 100% meant nothing to complain about, therefore 5*, it is a more powerful battery than standard but there are owners who mistakenly buy the lower power batteries which are used on the dual battery winter pack models & can never deal with the job in hand, I have a single battery model & this will more than suffice. Only longevity is something to monitor so I can only give 4++Stars.

Very good service from Tanya but the Battery itself has the terminal head at the right ends but the wrong sides so I have needed to really try and stretch the existing car battery connection cables which is not ideal as there is no slack. I have needed to order some terminal head extenders to see if I can get a better fit. So the Battery ordered and recommended as a higher capacity for the car being the G8 Varta is not ideal for my Mitsubishi Shogun. I should have stuck with the standard size.
