Bought this for my 2005 BMW e46 325Ci, it's bigger than the standard battery size and is the biggest you can fit. I chose the EFB over standard lead battery as they cope better with a higher electrical draw, and I have a a couple of amps that need the extra juice. This battery also has very high cold cranking amps, very useful in an older car, especially as winter approaches. It also has a very large capacity, which is useful for me as my car spends a lot of time dormant without being able to be put on a battery tender (street parking only). Highly recommend this option to e46 drivers
