This battery is a great find! I've just restored an ex-BBC Uher 4000 Report Monitor professional tape recorder (1980 vintage) - and this battery, once you flatten the terminals, is a perfect replacement for the original, long-dead Uher Z212. And with Yuasa quality, which I've also appreciated in the various classic cars I've worked on. Excellent product, very professional and prompt service. Thank you.

I bought this as a replacement for the 10 year old rechargeable battery in my UK made Cluson CLU10 torch. The picture said it was also UK made (written on the casing) but on arrival the casing did not mention this. I fear it may be made in China that we avoid at all costs because of their appalling human rights and environmental records. Sad. However, I fear I will struggle to avoid any Chinese made batteries in this area (like we really struggle with light bulbs now). The service from Tayna in delivery was prompt and excellent notwithstanding the fears above.
