Reviews of Lucas LX31MF Leisure Battery 105Ah

I bought two of these batteries for my yacht. Lucas has a strong brand image so I hope these batteries will be reliable and long lasting. Reliability is important afloat where you can't get out and walk. The lifting handle makes it a safer job getting the batteries aboard and installing them. Very pleased the Tayna service, keen price, fast delivery.

Excellent service and an excellent product. Tayna Customer Service is second to none. Had a call within 10 mins of placing my order to tell me the battery was out of stock but would with me in next couple of days. owing to the inconvenience they even arranged a Saturday delivery before 2pm at no extra cost. Have used them before and this just reinforces that the excellent customer service will mean i will use them again. Packaging was also excellent having purchased liquid batteries off the Internet (from elsewhere), in the past and found the box soaking wet with battery acid, these guys use a vacuum bag similar to those underbed storage bags. what a good idea! if the battery did leak (which it didnt) the liquid would get caught in the clear bag meaning no risk of exposure. was well impressed. So far so good. Only been installed for 2 weeks hough. Build quality better than numax (previous batteries) though. Tanya packaging excellent, vacuum bag and tons of polystyrene in strong box. Would def use service again.

Came packed very well, no damage & battery was in obviously brand new condition. I've had it running for several weeks now storing electricity from solar panels, and running a heavy duty inverter - it does exactly what it should. Happy customer.

Early days yet but everything is looking good. Battery arrived next day, well packed, and looks just as described. Time will tell how long it will keep it's current excellent performance, but there's nothing to suggest it won't.

Battery does exactly what it says on the tin! What more could one expect from a highly rated name like Lucas. I also bought a Numax battery from Tayna some time ago and that too is right up there with Lucas!! As for Tayna....
