The bike needed a new battery. Conventional wisdom is to go for a Yuasa but do you really want/need to pay Yuasa prices? I didn't want to for for anything unknown as the last thing you want on a big bike is an unexpected failure. I'd had Bosch batteries on my other vehicles - all top spec because when you're driving 2 tonnes plus, you're not going to push them!! The big revelation came when I discovered then the appropriate Bosch item has a higher CCA in a slightly smaller (shorter) package than any of the 'recommended' replacement batteries for my bike. In terms of the product, that made it a done deal! Service was outstanding too - arrived next day if I remember correctly, immediately ready for use, fitted and functioning in minutes. Absolutely delighted and more than happy to recommend in all aspects!
