I used the battery as a straight-forward replacement for my 2009 BMW R1200R. The battery showed 12.35V straight out of the box so I connected it overnight to an optimate charger. The next day the battery started the bike first time with a reassuringly strong start. Over the last few days this has remained the case and the battery holds a strong charge. I would recommend Exide batteries for any similar motorcycle.
