This battery casing is slightly smaller than the old battery which made fitting easier. When starting the bike, the engine turns over noticeably faster than with previous batteries which helps starting performance.

Battery is good fit however cable connections are a real pain & more appropriate to a car than a motorcycle. Motobatt or Odyssey are much simpler to connect up with simple bolt down connectors.

Only recently fitted but so far, noticeably faster cranking than any previous battery. Slightly smaller physical size than most previous batteries and so easier to fit in the restricted space available with BMW R75/6. The Exide battery is not supplied with protective covers for the terminals so I made my own to avoid chafing the rubber bands holding the BMW side panels.

This battery is a factory sealed gel type, with a good cold cranking ampage . This is good for a large cc twin . The battery height is ok, The width is smaller than the standard, but ok, The width is more than standard, but I found if the retaining bar is turned upside down it still secures the battery. ????

Definitely the right battery for my BMW R100. Here's a message I sent to Tanya Batteries prior to this review. (Hi there, thank Stephen for measuring the battery for me. The claimed width of 130mm put me off at first. My BMW R100 battery tray is 125 mm in width. The Exide AGM 12-31 is a perfect fit for the R100 range. (measuring roughly 121 mm at the base) I've had numerous batteries on this bike over the past 37yrs and this is by far the most powerful one that I've fitted. I think you should mention this battery will fit the R100 range, as I'm sure some owners will have been put off by the 130 mm width, as I was. From ordering to delivery, just 25 hrs excellent service, well done. R.B.
