Purchased to replace a failed E Class Mercedes Benz Auxiliary Battery A0009829608. Perfect size and correct terminal orientation, this battery is the economic choice for many owners. Being only slightly taller (2mm) than the OEM battery it is a 'snug' fit in the vehicle bracket but far cheaper than and OEM part at around £95! This battery is also slightly more powerful than the OEM battery but this is no detriment to the vehicle. The OEM battery has an external vent but this battery is sealed and does not use this facility so the vent pipe should be sealed to prevent moisture ingress to the vehicle! Some but not all Mercedes Benz models will require Battery management intervention to inform the BCU that you have installed a new battery and you will need to reprogram the new parameters into the BCU. Your new battery will not charge if this is not done and may be damaged by the vehicle alternator, check your specific model to ensure a safe and successful battery replacement. My vehicle did not need this to be done as the BCU doesn't monitor the Aux battery. Tayna Batteries support and service is next to none, I have used them for years and would not go anywhere else for batteries.
