Great product, at a very good price...had to mod battery retaining bracket on bike, but this was expected as was slightly bigger battery.highly recommend this make, and fast delivery well pleased. ..

This replaces a gel Odyssey battery for my R1200GS which was around 8 years old and beginning to let me down and failing to start the bike in cold, wet weather. It's early days yet to see if this battery is as good as the Odyssey, but at almost half the price, it is certainly an economical alternative. It is quite a bit smaller than the Odyssey and the holding down strap needed a little adjustment; I'm glad I kept the original strap that came with the bike, as this was quite easy to bend into the right shape to hold the battery. The two connecting pieces are also a little fiddly in that the nuts that hold the cables down are loose and free to fall into the dark abyss of the bike, rather than permanently fixed in place. Apart from that, perfect battery for the task.

I bought this for my R1200GS. Complete waste of time! Don't believe that other review from an apparent GS owner, this battery just doesn't have what it takes to start the GS. My bike really stuttered on start up. Thought that there was something wrong with the bike so took it to BMW. They tried a BMW battery and surprise surprise it worked fine. Don't buy this battery!

Battery was for my BMW GS1200 motorbike . Early days yet , I have only recently fitted it , but the bike starts fine so should be ok . Unfortunately , the wrong battery was sent to me although I had ordered it to the correct dimensions , I was told it had been incorrectly stickered at your works . When the correct one for exchange did not arrive after a reasonable time , I rang up to check progress and was told by your man that he had not pressed the '' go'' button for it to be despatched . The battery arrived 2 days later , the incorrect one picked up , new on fitted all ok. I would add that your man was most polite and helpful and I am only buying on an infrequent basis with no particular pressure to get the bike back on the road and I think problems like this could lose you a volume customer .

battery was a good fit for bike , it was needing a wee charge on connecting to battery optimiser it was on compensating mode ,but once fully charged its a good battery .

Battery appears to be well made compared to some i have purchased in the past , delivered very quickly , not used it yet , currently on a float charge until needed , when i e-mailed a enquiry it was dealt with promptly , all in all i received a excellant service from tayna batteries , would reccomend.

The service from Tayna was exceptional. I ordered it on in the afternoon and it was delivered by courier at about midday the following day. They gave good advice on which make to choose and the battery fitted perfectly. It has a greater Ah and CCA than the existing Yuasa (but that has lasted 9 years) Changing the battery has seemed to solve some strange things that have been happening to a couple of accessories.

The battery I tried to order for my 2010 BMW R1200 GS Adventure from Tayna they informed me is no longer manufactured. Tayna recommended this 'Star Buy' battery instead and I'm very happy with it. Initially, I was surprised that it seemed too tall for my motorcycle, however I quickly realised that there is a black plastic spacer at the bottom of the battery box compartment and after this is removed it is a perfect fit. I needed to temporarily remove the metal battery securing strap which one needs to do anyway and one bracket attached to the fuel tank (Torx 25 or Torx 30 tool) directly above the battery compartment where the rider's saddle meets the fuel tank. This new battery is slightly taller / higher than the OEM battery but ince the plastic spacer is removed it fits like a glove. The Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) is very high for this type and size of motorcycle battery so is very good for a large high compression engine - Another bonus. Delivery was very quick, ordered Sunday night and the battery was delivered on Tuesday. No messing with sulphuric acid as the battery is filled with electrolyte and was fully charged, ready to install and use immediately. Thank you Tayna for excellent quality product and super fast service.

Battery arrived within 20 hours of delivery and fitted to my C42 microlight aircraft within an hour, the charge in the battery turned the engine, Rotax 912 S 100hp, very swiftly and it started immediately. What's not to like. Thank you, great transaction.
