All seems to work although I had to buy another cable to connect the regulator to the load (electric fence energiser). Surprising as product was sold specifically for electric fences. Also disappointed by cheap parts - the fascia of the regulator is made of card and is coming away already. Not acceptable for something destined for outdoor use! Overall a bit of a waste of money; I should have just bought the separate bits off eBay.

So far holding charge well and panel recharging as it should.

Have only had this installed on my chicken electric fence for a few days, so far no problems. I did need to manufacture a frame for the solar panel, and since the controller specifies that it should be kept dry I also had to manufacture a water-tight container for that as well.
