I last come to Tanya 5 years ago to but batteries for my UPS. Not needed to come back untll now as the qualitry of the product was so good. I am sure these will be as good when Tanya are selling them

I bought these for an APC Smart UPS-1000. My biggest concern was whether they would fit as the original APC batteries are a tight fit into the slot but the Powerline ones are the identical size and fit perfectly. We'll have to wait and see how long they last but, at about one sixth of the price of an original APC RBC6 pack, they seem like a fantastic deal. They come as two separate batteries and they don't come with a battery connector so you'll need to reuse the one off the pack you are replacing and potentially tape the batteries together for ease of installation. Fantastic price and quick shipping. Very happy.

When the packaging was opened one of the sealing plugs on the battery was missing. As a result there was a small amount of acid around the battery and in the transit bag. The plug was found at underneath later on. As the amount of acid lost was less than half a cup then I was advised that the battery was still usable and to use soapy water to clean the battery. I then disposed of the packaging in a bonfire for safety. My purchase has been marked at Tanya in case the battery fails prematurely in which case it will be replaced without question. The battery has been installed and appears to be ok.
