Not having used my car for a while during Covid19 the battery was flat in the cold weather and affected the ECU. I used my old charger which took ages to put charge in the battery as it was only for lead acid batteries and I really needed a agm charger. After doing research I decided to purchase the CTEK MXS 5.0 12v Charger and Conditioner and am very happy with the purchase. The charger itself seems very well made and fully charged and conditioned the AGM battery in about 12hrs in freezing cold weather. I have now fully charged the battery in my other car which is lead acid and a spare in the garag all within 24hr from completely flat. I have no hesitation on recommending the MXS 5 charger and also the excellent service and price from Tayna.

Nice piece of kit. Easy to use, instructions etc clear. I have a Alfa Romeo Spider in the garage not getting a lot of use. This charger is ideal.

Very pleased. Arrived faster than I expected with Xmas and the pandemic in full swing. Easy to use and did what it was supposed to without fuss. Used it on an AGM battery and an ordinary one as well. Easy to forget that the battery runs down now we are not allowed to go anywhere during lockdown.

I was looking for a CTEK MXS 5.0 battery charger as all magazine reviews reckon it is one of the best. Tanya had the best price for the battery charger. Despite being near Christmas the charger was despatched the next day and delivered two days later. I would recommend Tanya to anyone looking for similar products. Too early to report on the charger but I have used it twice on cars with stop-start and it seems to have performed well.

Instructions booklet a little difficult to grasp, but becomes more understandable during use by referring back to the booklet. I think that it can keep battery’s charge and maintain in good condition hence my reason for purchasing one.

These chargers just perform exactly as it says on the box. I use them on cars which even in a non Covid year only do a few hundred miles a year. The batteries are kept fully charged and I avoid the problem of the flat battery in a car which hasn't been driven for some time. Especially in 2020 the CTEK's have been essential and brilliant.

I’ve used it to recharge nearly a dead battery and it has brought it back to life. I am charging the caravan battery, after disconnecting all leads to it from caravan charger. It’s easy to use and I think it will lengthen the life of the caravan battery especially if you use a caravan mover.
