This battery gives a much faster cranking speed over the lucas battery that it replaced, even when the lucas battery was new. Fits well and the breather tube also fits unlike the lucas battery.

The S5 008 Bosch battery does what I expect with ease. It replaced a lower rated Bosch S3 008 that I felt was struggling to cope with the reduced car use due to the coronavirus.

Excellent battery - car now starts like a dream despite the cold frosty weather over the last week. Well packed and speedy reliable delivery - left at neighbours as requested if I wasn't in. My only qualms about it is the site, when I entered the car registration number the site only returned one battery suitable for my car, which I thought was not strong enough being only a 60ah 600a. I was after something more powerful as being a deisel car I know I should really haves something in the range of 70 - 75ah. I know that they stocked ones that I wanted as I had browsed through the batteries of my size and requirements, but I wanted to enter the reg number so I could see that the batteries were suitable - and as I said the site only returned 1 unsufficient battery. I called Tanya battery and the assistant who answer the phone was very helpful to find the right battery size and gave me the model number to order on line. Perfect.
