As deposited in locked area, on its side! at present seems ok, unable to say if there will be minor damage to show itself later. The staff were pleasant when ordering, and the battery provides excellent starting. The deliverers need to use common sense in future, and not abandon goods anywhere !

This is the correct size battery for a second generation SAAB 9-3 (2003-) even though Tayna say it isn't. Exide batteries were the original SAAB equipment and Exide's website gives this as the size required for a 9-3. Exide say this is a 067 size (278X175X190) but some other manufacturers use 096 for the same size. So check the actual dimensions and note that it should be 190mm high. This Exide Premium battery is worth the extra cost over the Excell and Classic versions. It came very well packaged from Tanya. Just remember to remove the red vent plug from the end of the battery as soon as it is delivered. The black plug at the other end can be left in place. If your car has a vent tube that is plugged into the battery then the black plug must block off one of the vent holes, but it can be moved to the other end of the battery if required.

Had three of these, they do not hold their charge well. So don't use them on anything important that stands for a bit.

The cranking power during the winter months has been excellent - The previous battery hadn't failed but was struggling to start the diesel engine after the vehicle had not been started for 2 weeks during the colder winter months. I have had no problems this winter

I needed a strong battery as the lights were dimming, error codes were coming up on start up. The battery was great upgrade as it was over a 150Ah more powerful. It worked first time. The radio code was re-entered when I turned the ignition on. Delivery was the following day, I would buy from here again.
