Looks like a good quality battery and Exide is a well known brand with a 4 year warranty. Very reasonably priced and delivery was within three days. The only problem was that with my car back running I had no excuse to use my motorbike instead!

The battery arrived fairly promptly and quicker than expected with COVID19. However, the wrong size battery was sent. The Mercedes W203 needed an EA1000 and I was sent EA770 after they had checked the car registration number. Could not arrange a replacement over the phone had to buy a new EA1000 battery and arrange collection of EA770 when the courier delivered the new battery. Took another week. What a hassle. The upside very good price for an excellent branded battery.

What a great battery, starts my engine in an instant! No problem with fitting - this was actually the first time I fitted the battery by myself, as I'm not the 'car type'. Watched a few YT videos, ordered a socket set, and had zero problems fitting it (bear in mind that you need a 20 cm extension for the nut holding the battery down). For Astra H 1.7 owners, don't believe the retailers who recommend weaker 242 mm batteries. This 278 mm fits in the engine without any problem wathsoever, and works flawlessly (this is actually my second 278 mm battery - the first was 72A, and worked for 5 years without any problems, including freezing Croatian winter; this, being 77A, will probably go on even longer). As for service, it was delievered in 2 days, packaged securely, with adequate instructions about the battery plugs. And price is unbeatable (easily 40 pounds more in 'regular' stores). Superb service, superb battery - highly recommend it!
