Early days but the vehicle has had two Varta batteries in the last twenty years so reliability seems to be built in.

Very good product and fast delivery. If I had one complaint, the packaging ought to be more environmentally friendly - polystyrene can’t be recycled (and the bits go everywhere). Also the tape covering the vacuum bag prevented the bag from being reused.

This battery was the identical replacement for the battery fitted in my car from new. Due to the fact that the original Varta battery gave me almost 12 years usage and never letting me down dictated the joice for a replacement. Could have bought many alternative batteries at lower prices but at what cost to the peace of mind and confidence of continual usage of an excellent battery.

This was my 4th purchase from Tayna in the past couple of years and once again I cannot fault their service or price. However, I have given only 3 stars on this occasion because despite the D15 dimensions being shown as compatible for my Registration Number (which confirmed a 1.6 Ford B Max) this battery was in fact too high such that the captivated bolts to the holding-down bar across the top of the battery were too short to refit the bar. The other dimensions were a snug but doable fit. It took me about an hour to overcome this by turning the bar over and drilling out the holes to accommodate M6 Joint Connector Nuts (£5 for a bag of 50 at Screwfix if you don't happen to have them to hand - luckily I did) that were then long enough to reach the captivated bolts on either side of the battery. To avoid this faffing around, purchase a battery that is 175mm or less in height. The moral of this story is to measure your existing battery rather than rely on your keyboard, which to be fair to Tanya Batteries is what they advise!

Hope it lasts as long as the Varta battery it is replacing which is the original and now over 18 years old. Only replacing as a precaution before winter.
