Original BMW battery that had lasted 8 years was a Varta so replaced like with like. Same dimensions and vent position made an easy fit. Battery BMS populated the BMW IBS programme during registration which was automatically updated with the slightly increased capacity.

Excellent so far - expected to fit it myself, but Mercedes handbook thought otherwise making it sound complicated. Thankfully, my ever helpful, local garage manager came out and easily fitted it for me - (hugely heavy for OAP to lift anyway!).

Fast service and delivery,very good price for Varta start/stop battery,had to charge battery overnight,fitted to Jaguar xf and now have everything working again,air vents operating again and stop/start also no more battery messages on media screen now,fingers crossed this has solved all my problems.

Battery delivered on time charged and ready to install. The whole process from ordering on line to delivery was a fast and smooth operation. No software problems with the c/o as I maintained a 12v supply until the new battery was connected. More than happy now I’m up and running.

Expensive and very heavy but almost identical to the original Varta battery. Same dimensions but 95Ah instead of the original 90Ah. Slightly less cold cranking rating. Can be registered to the car as the same as the original. Take care when lifting into the rear wheel arch because your back takes the strain. Tie-wrap the terminal cables out of the way to make it easier to drop the battery in place.
