My previous Optima red top was used for ten years to operate an electric winch intermittently. It gave excellent service, delivering the high starting current needed and continuing to deliver high current for this application without complaint.

Unfortunately I was persuaded to upgrade to this battery on the telephone, and despite receiving confirmation on the call that the terminal location would be fine for the car, the battery arrived and did not fit the car as the terminals are too close together when compared to a normal battery. This has required me buying a fitting longer battery leads, a costly and irritating activity. Don't take the word of the Tanya advisor, check the dimensions of the terminal location very carefully. I just hope the performance is worth all the extra money and trouble.

It fits perfectly well under the seat, but: - It has not the little hole for the vent return tube - they do not last, I bought one last year and I had to buy one again this one

RTS 4.2 battery exactly as described, safe and good packaging, fast delivery. No problem with fitting, testing worked OK on PT Cruiser 2.2 CRD. After that due to some reasons (and also a bit intentionally) a car was not used for 3 weeks. Despite that no charging was required, a car started again with no problem. Overall - very good.
