Reviews of Optima Red Top Battery RTS 4.2 (8002-250) (BCI 34) RTS4.2 AGM

The battery I needed is not exactly an "off-the-shelf" product but a quick google search found Tayna as a supplier. The price was very good and the service and delivery were without fault. (I must mention the packaging!.....a huge amount of care had been taken to ensure the battery reached it's destination without any issues!....superb attention to detail!) I have no hesitation to recommend this company to anyone seeking a new battery for their car...whatever the make or model!

My new battery is to replace the original Red Top battery, my car was in a crash and the battery was damaged, it still worked but was not holding charge after a week.

Excellent product, dispatched the same day and arrived the following morning. The battery is used to power my motorcycle starter rollers and easily starts my Vincent V Twin engine. I would recommend the battery for a similar use.

Used Tayna before and as before - good product, good price, quickly delivered. This battery was for Jeep Patriot 2008 and though it's not a big engine (only 2.0L) it needs a pokey battery and this is the recommended model. If you are looking for Jeep Patriot battery don't be fooled by standard (compatible) lead batteries it needs a coiled battery like the Optima or else you'll be replacing every year! Would recommend.

Really great battery definitely delivers a good burst of power to get a small diesel marine engine started. It’s noticable compared to old wet battery
