Battery was good BUT I waited 8 DAYS with 8 delivery appointments for a "next day" delivery which I never received. Order was eventually cancelled and reordered on the next Wednesday,got a delivery day of Friday......BUT it NEVER arrived,turned up on Saturday. Absolutely disgusting

This battery is working well for my heavy diesel estate car and is the correct size. I had an issue with the wrong size battery the week before. Their customer service is really very good. I was shown the wrong battery for my car on their website, so it had to be returned. This correct replacement battery fitted fine. I had to call several times however I was always treated well and it was no trouble to obtain the information I requested or needed. The batteries are very well priced, so much so that both orders were delayed by 5 days as they had had such a good response to the various offers, Black Friday etc that all came at the same time. Usually I can get a battery within 1-2 days but not this time, which was fine as they explained the delay.

Bought this E38 Varta as direct replacement for original battery for the first time in early 2017 and it last till COVID lockdown slowly killed it . Bought another in late 2020 that last till last month so at an average of 4 - 5 years lifespan I had no doubts I was going to get the updated E38 now available for sale always at the best price @tayna UK

Does what it says on the tin. I run two of this type in the race car and bought one of these a couple years ago to replace a Bosch of similar spec. Had no issues so when the other Bosch bit the dust, I bought another one.

The 3 star rating is an average for the Tanya battery and the Evri delivery!! 5 star for Tanya, I've never had any issues with their batteries and the prices are always competitive. But sadly, they no longer offer heir own "local" delivery option (within 20 mls.) 1 star for Evri (no 0 star option) shouldn't be a surprise to anyone? I felt battery acid on the back of my hand after lifting it out of the tight-fitting bubble wrap. As a precaution: I'd recommend anyone carefully cutting it out with a knife/scissors and maybe wiping down the battery with soapy water? Obviously, just putting a "keep this way up!" warning on the box is a waste of time! I'll be adding in the cost to "pick-up" myself - when deciding on my next battery purchase?

Purchased to replace a dead battery for a Ford fiesta van (had stood though out the covid pandemic).. This battery was basically the same as the ford logo'd battery that the van originally had.... (I believe the Ford battery is just a re-badged varta)... and was a fraction of the Ford price. Service was super too.
