Needed a replacement stop-start battery and found it very difficult using supplier websites to find the correct match (including type, i.e. AGM or EFB). A high number of websites only served to confuse the matter further and invariably specified the wrong battery altogether. Nothing for it then but to lift the bonnet and clean the old battery to find out what the actual spec was. This battery is the closest match to the original - also a Varta - although I've gone for an AGM type this time as opposed to the original EFB. Tayna was one of only two suppliers that came near on price but the amount of positive reviews for Tayna led me to buy from them. Good decision, fast delivery and a great battery - so far.

This battery was easy to install and works perfectly. It has been less than a month since I fitted it so could not comment on reliability or longevity (hence 4/5 stars). Excellent service from Tayna. The battery was in my hands within 24 hours of ordering it, and it was packed and protected very well. The purchase price was competitive. Next day courier delivery was £11 which seemed like good value considering the battery weighs over 20kg. Tayna kept me very up to date with my order status and tracking which was largely accurate. I would happily buy from you again in the future.

In midsummer (mechanics are on holiday!) my old battery left me stranded. I went to the Varta site and I saw this battery was perfect for my car. So I ordered it from Tayna. Only 4 days and it was at my house in Italy! I had a little problem with my debit card, but a Tayna's staff member, helped me. This is the most satisfactory order I ever do.

Bought for a R56 Mini Cooper 1.6 petrol 2008, it's the same Varta battery as the one that was on the car and what was fitted at the factory. It was up at 12.8 volts when checked too, nice and strong. Very good price too.
