The battery arrived in a sealed zip-lock bag and well padded in a cardboard box. There was a small amount of leakage (as noted by a previous review) but given that liquid acid is being shipped, it's to be expected. The battery was reading 12.6v and a couple of hours on the balance charger brought it up to 13.4v. Car now starts like it should and the speedy delivery was perfect timing for the forecast cold weather. No more jump leads!!

Replaced the original Akuma battery. Starts first time, starter motor seams to spin faster too, although 12 year old battery was on last legs. Great and quick service from Tayna, ordered on Monday evening, arrived 10am Wed, with tracking email and 1h timeslot. Highly Recommended.

I am very pleased with the Varta Silver battery. It starts my 2L VW diesel engine really well on a cold morning. The battery was well packaged and delivery was very fast... 23 hours from ordering. I appreciated the emails telling me of the status of the order, as my car was off the road. I have no hesitation in recommending Varta as a great battery or Tayna as the place to buy them.

Great battery and great seller. I needed a new battery for my Saab as the old one was starting to get a bit lazy this winter. I spent hours searching for a good battery at a good price. Weighing things up this was the best, in fact it's the same battery as last time (I think 6 or 7 years ago) but this time it's cheaper. I am happy, Saab is happy, tayna is happy. Merry Christmas all:-)

Good service at a good price. Very well packaged, good communication from delivery company. Unfortunately they handed the parcel straight to my wife and she didn't appreciate the weight! Fault of delivery company not Tanya. Hopefully the battery will last, only time will tell, but very good start. Hard to fit into a VW New Beetle cabriolet but that is a car design problem.
