Since installing this battery last week it appears to be performing very well in the cold weather. It is the exact physical size of my previous 70ah Varta battery but is obviously slightly more powerful with better cold cranking. The battery had to be coded to 80 ah on my car since the vehicle has an intelligent battery system. it wasn't possible to code the vehicle to 77ah. Only time will tell whether this will become an issue or not.
