After having replaced the OEM battery twice in 2 years with cheap 3rd party ones, I did some research and found that lots of people recommended this Varta due to it's CCA rating. It is also the same size as the OEM battery so can be clamped firmly in the tray too. It's been in the car for a couple of weeks now and has performed perfectly in freezing conditions, even though the car has only done a couple of very short trips.

Made a huge difference to cold starts so very happy with that. Replaced old identical battery F18 Varta. Only downside was the old one only lasted 6 years, so based on that the life might be limited. My old bike battery lasted me 11 years so my expectation was more.

I was recomended to Tayna by a friend, and they proved to be spot on. A useful website and battery guide came up with a sutable upgrade on my previous battery. Excellent service, as the battery was delivered very promptly, and the installation instructions were clear, also Alan was able to answer my later phone query straight away. In these days of some dissapointing experiences of online ordering, Tayna proved to be as good as they claim, and thats very good.
