Bought 2 new, I was surprised both were only charged to 12.45V - 80%

Normally I would give a 5 start review like with all the other batteries I have had from Tayna. Unfortunately, this one arrived a bit below the normal voltage you would expect and only lasted about 5 days before it dropped to just under 5V output and could not be charged. The positive was that Tayna sent out a replacement in about 2 days and so for this has been fine (but sporting a new improved Grey colour - new batch?).

We had the smaller ELB40 for some years which just keeps working on the electric fence but as we decided to electrify an adjacent paddock which is larger so decided on the larger ELB50. The battery arrived ahead of schedule( like all the other batteries I have had from Tayna) and despite having a slightly lower voltage than expected still worked well for a few days...it then failed totally and would not take charge from any of my chargers. Contacted Tayna and within 2 days a new replacement arrived (but was grey instead of black -so maybe a newer version). It has been fitted today so look forward to many years of trouble free service.
