These are fantastic little batteries, particularly if your bike/vehicle is only used occasionally. They will hold a good charge over a period and need no real maintenance. Do remember to include good or new padding for your battery in its cradle, as the case on these batteries is not as thick as those old style batteries. Do not risk the case being cracked because of vibration etc.

The service was faultless and the price of your AGM 6-volt battery was incredibly cheap. My only slight misgiving with this otherwise excellent WESTCO product is that the vertical "spade" type terminals seem a bit flimsy for my motorcycle application and wiring the first one up for service necessitated cutting a fairly large hole in the rubber lid of my battery case. This works reasonably well on my old Moto Guzzi GTV where there is room for vertical connections. I bought two batteries as you know and fitting the second one into the restricted space available in the toolbox of my 1957 Triumph Tiger 100 is not really an easy option given the layout of the WESTCO battery terminals and the lack of headroom in the standard Triumph casing. Do you, by any chance, have 6-volt batteries of the sealed WESTCO type with a more conventional sideways exit for the terminals and their connecting wires ? Many Thanks. Dave Thomas, Bristol BS16 6LT

previous similar battery failed after less than 18 months due to loss of internal contact between terminal and battery but worked well till then, hope this one lasts a bit longer! Might be vibration damage.
