I asked for advice on which batteries to buy for my motorhome engine battery, the battery is not listed under the registration so I spoke to one of the representatives. When the battery turned up it was a gel battery and I called again saying it was replacing a special sealed liquid battery and can they confirm it is okay to use. I was told yes and I asked if they could just put that in writing to cover myself as the batteries are expensive. I was told an email would be sent, I have never received it and I have even checked spam so a little disappointed. The service is always good but I can honestly say I was disappointed after being told they would follow up with an email

I have had this fitted to my VW Scirocco since 2018, but noticed possible issues with the battery a year later, unfortunately I never got the opportunity to get the battery tested and other commitments means it was much easier to jump start the car than to return the battery under warranty and be without a car. Since COVID the car has been used less and of I'm not driving it at least every 2 days the battery goes flat, I've tried a battery charge/repair and that seemed to help for a short period but it's time for a replacement, and I will be looking at other batteries.
