A great device! Versatile and compact; have only used it to top up a good battery so far but, based on the build quality, I'm sure it will work well if it needs to do some reconditioning too!

Really easy to use, connect and switch on. No harm done even if you connect it the wrong way round. The easy to read charge indicator shows that car alternators do not keep the battery full charged, which is not good for them. I bought this make because the emergency service I work for uses the bigger version for keeping our vehicles batteries fully charged 24/7.

The charger was purchased to bench charge a leisure battery during the winter period. It was very easy to connect and seems to be doing the job well. I also purchased the protective cover to protect against drops and provide a less slippy surface. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Pleased with my CTEK MXS 5.0 charger. Bought to replace an old Optimate 2 that started red lighting batteries that were ok. The CTEK is small and very light and pretty much covers all car and motorcycle battery types and sizes. Good service from Tayna.
