Used a CTEK charger years ago to replace a duff built in charger in a caravan. This MXS 5.0 i've used twice on different cars and it does the job, also easy to place in the engine compartment with bonnet shut. Good service by Tayna and also a very competitive price.

After allowing my Mercedes Vito battery to discharge below a sensible limit, my old conventional charger could only achieve about two-thirds charge on the battery. I was a bit miffed as the battery was only about 18 months old. I had been looking for an excuse to buy a smart charger so, after a bit of on-line research, I opted for the CTEK 5. After putting the battery through the recondition charge program, it's as good as new again. The CTEK comes with easy to follow instructions, simple controls and a clear display that shows each stage of the charging process. This is a quality charger at a reasonable price and I would recommend it to anyone.

So far so good. Used it twice to recondition and recharge two old batteries. Unit seems well designed and built and came with a useful bag to keep all items together.

Bought recently due to our car battery dying during the cold weather in Scotchland. Price was cheaper than on Amazon which was a plus and the reviews steered me towards the MXS 5 versus other models. Very easy to use, left it fitted to the battery for several hours during the day in the garage without any issues. Battery now fully charged. I’ve not experienced any issues since using it. Given we drive few miles these days due to the current plague restrictions I’ll be using it again soon just to top up the battery. Tanya were very prompt with delivery so can’t fault their service.
