This is the second one I bought of this type of battery. Replaced with something more conventional which holds its charge for longer.

Excellent customer service and comprehensive website. I have an old vehicle and it’s original battery, 22 years old, finally gave out. My local dealer couldn’t replace it, neither could any of the suppliers they contacted. I set about checking online companies and Tayna came up trumps. They had other users with the same vehicle who had bought an alternative battery (original no longer made) who gave the thumbs up. I ordered late afternoon and by next morning it was in my MX5 and I was back on the road. Lifesavers!

These are a direct replacement for MX5 panasonic gel battery and easy fit - BUT I never find they last very long and I need to replace often - which is expensive. Could be a fault with the electrics in my car I suppose or fact that I SORN the car over the winter months (with battery charged and disconnected). Gave up in the end and bought a large lead acid which was cheaper and more powerful - did have a make up a new fixing bracket.
